I mixed some of the embellishments from the Deco Dreams Collection Biggie with some custom made papers that I created with ScrapSimple Paper Templates: Dark Mood. I just sampled colors from the photos and then used my styles pallet to color overlay that shade onto each of the small shapes (in the upper-right side). I just dropped on a ribbon and some small white flowers to give that corner a decorative flourish but still kept the emphasis on the photos! Another option I had considered for next time would be a thin white line outlining each shape against the black background - there are so many layout options! I typed a quick title using a cute script font, and my layout was completed quickly and easily! In this layout, I wanted to show off multi-colored shots of artwork and art supplies. I tried to pick photos that were similarly colored in the same primary shades. I dropped in a little floral embellishment and used some simple colored papers on those small shapes in the lower left.
