"Hosanna!  Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!"  Palm Sunday is celebrated by Christians around the world to mark the entry into Holy Week.  We acknowledge the success of our Lord with cheers and waving palms.  The palm branch is an ancient symbol of victory used by the disciples as Jesus entered into Jerusalem. On Palm or Passion Sunday, we carry palm branches in procession into the Sunday Service.
