I have really enjoyed this kit, especially the grungy, industrial papers. They add that extra grit for masculine or urban-themed pages. The gears are really versatile, too. The gear clusters have a great vertical emphasis.

The subtle fall / country colors of this kit are really fantastic. I have also merged these elements with a lot of other kits. In addition, those dramatic papers really make a page pop and are perfect for heritage pages. Can I just say how much I love those gray and beige/tan shabby bows and ribbons?

While this is a great sports-themed kit, it is also a go-to kit for primary colors. Each of ten colors comes in six different papers - that is a HUGE kit! I also adore the alpha and have used it in all kinds of layouts. I've used it for sports, museum, child and vacation layouts.

Advantages: Primary colors with multiple and interchangeable pattern papers.

This is one of the earlier kits I bought from ScrapGirls, and it continues to be one of my favorites. I purchased it for engagement and wedding-themed pages, especially for the gorgeous floral papers and elements, but I have used a handful of elements again and again on other types of layouts. The feather, the maple seeds, the leaves and especially the great alphas have been used again and again.

Advantages: The alphas make great brushes for clipping with other papers for use in virtually any kit. I've done some great title-heavy pages with the alphas from Love Notes. Also, the cursive word art is very versatile.

This is a small kit, but it packs a punch. The papers are dramatic and colorful, and they are really stunning blended together in backgrounds. Unlike many mini collections, there is a great mask/paint included. The shape and opacity of the mask is really useful for images and papers, and I have used it over and over and over again.

This is a beautiful little mini collection. In particular, it has some really unique embellishments that add a lot of drama to a page. The blue roses, the big floral cluster and the swirls are ornate and real attention-getters. In addition, I've used the floral brush many times with other kits.

If you are looking for bold emphasis from papers and elements, this kit has a lot from which to choose. The red, yellow, teal and black are bright and cheery, and that plaid paper is yummy. I have used to dotted papers in combination with many other kits. The cut out versions of the papers are really unique.

There are some truly unique and beautiful blended papers in this collection. They have an almost jungle lushness to them, and the patterns are unexpected. Anytime I've used this kit, my layouts get lots of comments. I found blocking these papers to be particularly effective and dramatic.

I love anything Art Nouveau, and this value pack ticked all my boxes. I've used this kit quite a bit with engagement photos (Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss"!), but perhaps even more versatile are all those golds. In addition, that Arts & Crafts style alpha is a treasure!

Advantages: This kit is gorgeous with fall-themed layouts and I have used the embellishments in conjunction with a lot of other kits, particularly the metals and jewels.

I bought this kit to use with some country-themed baby photos, but OMG, I just keep using it and using it with other kits. It has probably become one of my go-to kits when I am looking for a neutral flower, lace, stitch or beads. In addition, a few of those papers, especially the green, ivory and wood, are some of the best blenders with almost any kit. And then there is that gorgeous pop of red-orange. It is kind of a rare color, but I like how it just grabs attention.

Advantages: The ability to mix this kit with so many additional kits, even from other designers.

This collection is gorgeous for a fall New England coastal vacation. The days were brisk and a little cloudy, and this kit went so beautifully with that aesthetic. The word art was spot on, too. Surprisingly, I also used the flowers in this kit with a lot of wedding layouts because the dusty blues were perfect. Blending and layering papers with the Tidepooling Extra Papers kit is highly recommended! In looking back, I think I used 95% of the embellishments in my layouts.

Advantages: The grass, leaves and stems are really lovely and useful. They are a little different and great colors. The grass has made its way into many, many of my clusters.

The bright, sherbet colors balanced by the deep gray and white for this kit makes it so unique. I have used it with all kinds of layouts, from baby to wedding to nature. Those floral shapes are fantastic and make a dramatic addition to page.

Advantages: The companion solids are great for blending.

These grunge paper templates are a "must" for any good scrapbook stash. They run the gamut from subtle to bold. I especially like the two that run to a denser, linear pattern toward the middle. That type of shading is perfect for highlighting photos on one side of the page or the other.

If you are looking for a good, all around useful kit, this is it. The papers have a variety of patterns, there are flowers and some more unique embellishments, plus a very nice alpha. The colors are both neutral and earth tones, with a pop of pastel.

Advantages: Fantastic damask papers - truly beautiful.

These are so useful - either as is or clipped with other papers. The edges are the perfect width to add that special level of dimension to a page.

These clusters do all the work for you. They are stunning layered all together, but the individual pieces work beautifully in layouts as well. I have used them both ways. The shapes are perfect for photos or papers.

Advantages: I love the unique shape of that cropped rectangle.

The creases and patterns of these grunge blocks add so much to a layout! Use them as is for dimension, or clip papers to them for other effects. I used a dotted paper once that really surprised me with how great it looked. Every time I layer these onto a layout, I am surprised at how much the page is enhanced.

I have had these frames less than a year, and I find that I keep coming back to them for a really different look. That triangle mask is incredible, and I really like the narrow rectangle, too. I use these with and without the frames.

I was looking for a narrow mask with some edge interest, and ran across this kit in the ScrapGirls shop. I have used it so many times in so many different types of layouts. It handles photos as well as papers, and makes a great background for text. This is one of my favorite embellishment template kits for sure.

This is one of my most-used templates for both papers and photos. The one with the center blend is the perfect level of edge fade, and can be cropped to one side as well. I like how the masks are dense enough to handle a high quality photo.

These are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Numbers 2 and 6 are among my most-used templates, and that one with the "cut up" damask is super dramatic in deep colors. Every digital scrapper should have this kit in her collection.

This is a staple in my stash. The blended edges are deep and dramatic, but with opacity level changes, they take on a completely different level of subtlety. They really bring the focus to the center of the page and add that perfect level of "finish" to a layout.

If you are doing any pages with a bridal or wedding theme, these are perfect complements to any other kit. I especially like the look of a light lace against a deep background. Only Amanda would think of combining grunge and lace so beautifully.

These beautiful templates add a feminine touch with a subtle grunge edge. The kit is perfectly mixed, with some templates adding an all over canvas effect and others emphasizing pieces of the page, leaving plenty of room to highlight photos. The pops of botanical patterns are what make these overlays so special.

Template #5 in this kit is a piece of art. Every time I use it in a layout, I get tons of comments on the page in the ScrapGirls gallery. I wish I could claim credit, but I can't. This kit is a good investment because it contains overlays that can run from masculine to feminine to heritage pages and child pages.
