These Scrap Simple papers are inspired by quilting patterns! Use them with all your favorite papers - solids, patterns, or both - to create the perfect background to showcase your photos! Shrink them down to create your own greeting cards, or combine several patterns to create your own quilt layout! For those perfectionists out there, you can sample colors from your photo and use them to create perfectly coordinated papers for your layout!
ScrapSimple Paper Templates: Piecemakers 1 contains six 12"x12" templates and individual PNG files for each template.

"No Such Thing..." digital scrapbook layout by Laura Louie uses:
In this layout, I created four papers using the A Joyful Day collection. I flattened each paper, then reduced the image size to 5.75"x5.75". From there, I combined them on an empty background, spacing them evenly over the canvas. I added a solid background/bottom layer so it resembled a solid piece of fabric that each of my patches was "sewn" onto. In my layout, I felt the background was a bit too busy, so I reduced transparency on the "patches" to 50% to create a more subtle look. From there, I added my main photo and embellishments to complete the layout!

I love adding an inked edge to my photos and elements, and in this case, I felt that a little ink really helped define each section with in my quilt patch! I mixed some solid and patterned papers to create the background and added some leaves under my photo to help separate it from the background. A few coordinating elements with a basic tag and my layout is quickly complete!
